Role Description

We are looking for a Junior Technical Specialist in Malaysia to join our dynamic team.

As a Technical Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in presenting and promoting our product features, benefits and top qualities to potential customers. You will be the go-to person for expert assistance, addressing technical queries and troubleshooting any issues customers may encounter.

Responsibilities

• Conduct product presentations to showcase features, benefits and applications to potential clients, including interior designers, carpenters and architects.

• Assist in the development of product documentation, training materials, and resources to facilitate effective product adoption and usage.
• Able to liaise and communicates with carpenters and knowledge in carpentry processing.
• Update of technical report and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.

Requirements

• Diplomas, A-Level or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 1-year related experience.
• Must possess own vehicle and must be willing to travel nationwide (entire Malaysia).
• Previous experience in a technical support or customer service role, preferably in carpentry industry.
• Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to diverse personalities.

1. AutoCAD Drawing Preparation
   • Create, modify, and finalize detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD based on project requirements.
   • Collaborate with the design team to ensure drawings meet specifications and standards.
   • Maintain an organized database of all CAD files for reference and updates.
2. Laser Cutting Operations
   • Program and operate the laser cutting machine using the prepared CAD drawings.
   • Monitor the laser cutting process to ensure accuracy and quality of outputs.
   • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on the laser cutting equipment.
3. Bending Machine Operations
   • Set up and operate bending machines to fabricate parts as per specifications.
   • Adjust machine settings and ensure precision during bending tasks.
   • Inspect finished products to meet quality and dimensional standards.
4. Quality Control
   • Conduct regular checks to ensure that parts meet design specifications and quality standards.
   • Report and address any discrepancies or defects.
5. Safety and Maintenance
   • Follow safety guidelines and ensure the safe operation of all machines.
   • Perform periodic maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
6. Coordination and Communication
   • Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines.
   • Communicate effectively with the design and project teams regarding any issues or improvements needed in drawings or machine operations.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD software.
• Experience in operating laser cutting and bending machines.
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Customer Order Management:

• Manage Pierre Cardin Malaysia’s marketing campaigns on Tiktok and Tiktokshop. This role requires a strong ability to collaborate with internal teams and hosting skills to ensure impactful and high-quality marketing campaign that meet the brand's objectives.

• Plan and execute planned marketing activities and campaign through Tik Tok, Tik Tok Ads and Tik Tok Shop
• Design impactful assets and digital marketing materials for digital platforms and e-commerce

Purchaser Job Scope

• To prepare monthly material price list & study the market price changes on bill of materials in order to determine the impact on costing & profitability.

• To collect data from production & develop new standard cost for manufacturing process & update standard cost on existing operating activity.
• To review the information and the costing in the system from time to time to maintain high accuracy.
