DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensure compliance with Accounting Standards (as issued by MASB) and other relevant accounting standards where applicable, including IRB requirements.
2. Prepare, review and analyse financial statements (Balance Sheets, Income Statements and Cash Flow statements).

Finexus is looking for Senior Software Engineers to accelerate the development and adoption of its latest product, AREMA for e-invoicing. 

As a Senior Software Engineer on AREMA, you will have the opportunity to:

Key responsibilities & goals: 

• Design & develop a variety of backend microservices & features. 
• Conduct thorough reviews for juniors & peers, ensuring high quality designs and pull requests. 
• Support AREMA in production, ensuring high uptime, product quality and customer experience. Ensure that product stability improves over time by investing in both short-term and long-term improvements. 
• Actively participate in the agile development process and team planning. 
• Grow to lead parts of the technology roadmap of the team. 
• Contribute to hiring efforts to build a stronger team. 

Requirements:  

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, with a backend or full-stack focus. 
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or related fields (e.g. Computer Engineering, Data Science) 
• Programming expertise in at least 1 major language: Java, Python, Golang. 
• This includes the ability and willingness to learn new languages (our backend is currently in Java). 
• Familiarity with a modern tech stack, and expertise in a few components of it. Preferably: 
• At least 1 year of experience in releasing software products within a CI/CD environment 
• At least 1 year experience working with cloud services & containerized platforms (e.g. AWS EKS, Azure K8s, SUSE Rancher) 
• Nice to have: 
• Knowledge of SQL, ORMs, and a variety of databases (SQL and NoSQL) 
• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes. 
• Soft skills: 
• Good communication skills in English, written and verbal. 
• Strong analytical skills and ability to identify risks and opportunities. 
• Collaboration skills to work across teams, including non-technical stakeholders.

Job Brief:

Efficiently and effectively maintain all Konica Minolta products in the field at optimum operational level at all times be it hardware or software.Plans activities and actions wisely and execute them to retain existing contractual MIFs (machines in field) and help Sales to plant in more MIFs through customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

• Efficiently and effectively maintain all Konica Minolta products in the field at optimum operational level at all times.
• Ensure the proper service, maintenance and repair of all Konica Minolta products in the designated areas and such service to be carried out promptly, efficiently and courteously.
• Be ready to assist other area / branch when needs arise.
• Installation of printer/scan/fax drivers, applications/software settings on machines/PCs, resolving issues crop up on solutions/applications sold by Konica Minolta, are part of the job responsibilities.
• Ensure all service jobs are properly recorded in Service Reports with all relevant information as requested and such reports must be submitted to Superior same day of service or latest next morning.
• Ensure all parts required are properly recorded in Spare Parts Requisition Form and to sign for receipt of all such parts at all times. Unused parts/spoilt parts must be returned to Spare Parts Division same day or latest next morning.
• To call the office upon arriving at customer's site and after completion of service calls and as directed to do so.
• Attend all Konica Minolta products' service training and any refresher course as may be considered necessary from time to time and/or as directed, and keep up-to-date all technical service bulletins, manuals, modification kits etc as given/taught from time to time.
• Ensure all Company information – spare parts price list, service manuals, technical service bulletins etc are kept confidential and not fall into unauthorized hands.
• Not to service, maintain or repair any competitor models unless instructed to do so by Superior, and not to reveal/discuss with any outsiders/customers any problems/information relating to Konica Minolta products except in the strict performance of your job functions.
• As and when directed, you may be assigned higher level of authority to meet operational requirement.
• Perform other related duties as and when directed by Superior.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate should possess a Diploma / Advanced Diploma, Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Engineering (Electrical / Electronic),Engineering (Computer / Telecommunication), Engineering (Mechanical),Engineering (Mechatronic / Electromechanical)
• Preferably at least 2 years of related working experience.
• Preferably Executive specializing in Maintenance / Repair or equivalent.
• Good communication skills in English, Malay, and Chinese language for both spoken and written

Role Responsibilities

• Responsible for understanding and analyzing the business issue and translating the issue into requirements and user stories
• Map the as-is process and to be process, explore, identify, and test new innovative solutions for process re-engineering/digitisation/automation
• Work with the team to design a solution, develop and implement various process improvement tools and techniques including Workflow, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Optical Character Recognition (OCR), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning (ML), Process Mining and Analytics Dashboard to meet end-to-end business requirements
• Responsible for design and developing solutions through an iterative process to meet business needs
• Ensure the completeness, effectiveness, and sustainability for the implementation of proposed appropriate solution
• Create and document test procedures and scenarios for user acceptance test
• Working with a dynamic team to refine and expand the automation based upon user feedback
• Support the team in the adoption and implementation of the solutions

• Develop supplier quality improvements based upon part evaluation, data analysis, and process review. Apply appropriate quality improvement tools.
• Liaise with engineering, purchasing and suppliers in understanding and conveying of documented and/or intended requirements.
• Develop CTQ or vendor quality requirement document in the beginning.
• Liaise with design engineering, manufacturing engineering and suppliers with new product development, manufacturing/quality planning, new supplier selection and engineering change notice.
• Develop key measurements to monitor supplier performance and provide appropriate response and action planning for performance improvement. Provides technical and quality leadership for implementation of solutions for quality problems.
• Jointly develop and improve supplier’s quality performance using tools such as first article evaluations, control plans, and tolerance capability studies. Utilizes advance quality planning tools and methods with the supplier where beneficial such as flowcharts, FMEA, Cause & Effect Diagrams, Histograms, Pareto Analysis, Scatter Diagrams, SPC Control Charts.
• Assists supplier analysis of part failures to determine failure modes and determination of potential solutions. Implements an effective corrective action process with the suppliers.
• Participates in the audit/assessment of suppliers.
• Completes assessments of supplier manufacturing processes and identifies improvements. Facilitate implementation of supplier quality processes, such as those that are consistent with ISO 9001.
• Continuous improvement of Smiths Detection integrated management system.
• Participates and/or performs random internal product and process audits.
• Perform incoming inspections as needed. Collect and publish results. Conduct feedback sessions for corrective and preventative action
• Develop suppliers score card, reduce number of supplier incidents with proper corrective actions.
• Develop suppliers approach for Lean, six sigma to reduce the component cost
• Comply with and ensure department compliance with Company health, safety and environmental policies.
• Comply with all applicable U.S. export control and security regulations.
• Lead and coordinate supplier’s part failures return arrangement and failure analysia tracking   
• Other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for New Process/Material Development support
• Fulfill short term project assigned by supervisor/engineer from new process/material development department.
• Perform engineering study and data collection at a supervisor/engineer's request.
• Hands on task for assembly processes in a cleanroom environment.
• Compile and generate report with Microsoft Excel, Word, .ppt, and statistical tools.
