Job Summary: 

The Zone Supervisor cum Chargeman (BO 11kV) role is to manage FM contractors and ensure compliance with authorities. Controlling, monitoring, and liaising with tenants. Providing ad hoc support for maintenance works in Bukit Jalil, Raub, and Perlis branches.

Responsibilities:

• All scopes are in relation to all facilities & services assigned to the maintenance department which may differ overtime as deemed fit by the management.
• Monitor the works in performance of the appointed FM contractor against contract in force, PO, 8Q or other agreed arrangement for the works whichever is relevant.
• Raise report of FM contractor non compliance to ensure all facilities & services are in good operational conditions.
• Review, monitor and respond when needed of the renovation works submitted by tenants and/of projects by other departments and/or any proposal by any party to the department.

• Loading, transporting, and the items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
• Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
• Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
• Assessing the site where the ceiling fan is to be installed to assess the space and determine the most appropriate location for the fan.
• Ensure that the ceiling is strong enough to support the weight of the fan.
• Installing and assembling the ceiling fan, wiring it to the electrical system, and mounting it securely to the ceiling safely and efficiently.
• Test the ceiling fan to ensure that it is functioning properly and that there are no electrical or mechanical issues.
• Clean up the site after the installation is complete, including removing any debris or packaging materials.
• Provide advice and guidance to the customer on how to use and maintain the fan, as well as answer any questions the customer may have about the installation process and the products.
• Provide a comprehensive range of electrical services, including but not limited to pulling electrical wires, installing power switches, and any other electrical works tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
• Abiding by all transportations laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
• Daily reporting and weekly reporting to direct manager.
• Other tasks, when required by the immediate supervisor.

• Experienced in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing of a ceiling fan is a bonus

• Handyman experience will be an advantage
• Ability to walk, drive, lift and carry heavy items for extended periods
• Basic command of English, spoken and written
• GDL driving license is required and able to drive Van
• A minimum of 1-year experience is preferred
• Comfortable with 5.5 days work week (Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm)

For the position, we are currently looking for a professional working for us on a contractor base and for a limited amount of hours per week (20 hours)

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Provide technical and troubleshooting assistance related to computer hardware and software, mobile devices and other tech tools and products
• First and second level technical support – calls/tickets/user interaction
• Provide prompt responses to IT related questions from end-users
• Reliable documentation of all end-user interactions in customer ticket system ‘Service Now’ (e.g., incidents, requests)
• Create, maintain, utilize knowledge articles
• Provide IT onboarding trainings to new starters
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

• Language skills: fluent English and Malay, other languages are a plus
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role
• Strong problem solving/analytical abilities
• Excellent communication skills and customer orientation
