5. Risk Management:

• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Monitor risk factors throughout the project lifecycle and implement contingency plans as needed.

6. Quality Assurance:

Qualifications and Requirements:

• To manage the team that will be responsible for functions including daily cash management, banking administration, foreign currency hedging and cross currency swap.

· Malaysians with tertiary education qualification in HR disciplines or Business Administration.

Responsible for organizing and managing audits according to audit plans, overseeing the process of audits, managing auditors to ensure that the audit work is performed according to the required standard and deadlines.

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Finance Manager to oversee the full book of accounts and prepare management accounts for our US distribution business. Reporting directly to the Senior Finance Manager, this role is critical in ensuring accurate financial planning, analysis, and reporting. The position requires working night shifts with flexibility in the location of work. Immediate availability is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the full set of accounts, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare and analyze monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP) and Group policies.
• Oversee reconciliation of intercompany accounts, addressing discrepancies promptly.
• Lead and coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes to meet reporting timelines.
• Collaborate with the US team and accounting team to ensure accurate data and efficient consolidation activities.
• Monitor compliance with evolving accounting regulations and internal policies.
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency in financial reporting and accounting processes.
• Engage with auditors and senior management, providing insights into financial performance.

A DAY IN A LIFE

As a start up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:

1. Treasury Function Setup:
• Develop and implement treasury policies, procedures, and control for Teleport group and its subsidiaries.
• Establish banking relationships and negotiate banking agreements.
• Select and implement treasury management systems or tools.
2. Cash Management and Forecasting:
• Oversee daily cash management and ensure optimal liquidity.
• Prepare and maintain short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts.
• Optimize working capital and identify opportunities for improvement. 
3. Risk Management:
• Identify and manage financial risks, including currency and interest rate exposures.
• Implement appropriate hedging strategies as needed.
4. Investment and Debt Management:
• Develop and manage short-term investment strategies.
• Monitor and manage corporate debt, ensuring compliance with covenants.
• Evaluate and recommend financing options to support business growth.
5. Collaboration and Reporting:
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and other departments to align treasury activities with company objectives.
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership, providing insights into liquidity, risk, and financial performance.
6. Compliance and Governance:
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
• Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in treasury management.

These are minimum-requirement skills and a ‘must-have’ for the role: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., CTP, CFA, CPA) is a plus.
• 5-7+ years of treasury or related finance experience, preferably in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of building or managing treasury functions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

As Residences Manager, you will manage the effectiveness of the day-to-day Residences operation for Residences guest satisfaction and occupancy. The priority of your role will be working closely with current Residences Butler, Residences Room Attendant team and all other Department Leaders & team members, to ensure the Residences units are in tip top condition and at the same time to ensure the highest level of service delivery to meet guest satisfaction and exceed their expectations at the Residences.

Secondly, Residences Manager is responsible fully on managing positive relationship with all the Residences owners, to maximize the Residences revenues for each Residences owners.
