• Assist in operation matters on contractual issues and any other contracts administration duties related to QS.
• Monitor on amendments to the scope of works and conditions of contract, variation order and apply extension of time if necessary.
• Acquire quotation from contractor and suppliers for purpose of cost assessment, analysis or budgeting.
• Co-ordinate with client, consultant, suppliers and sub-contractors.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Quantity Surveyor or equivalent.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office application & AutoCAD).
• Excellent communicator and possess impressive numeracy skills to handle the financial and mathematical demands of the role.
• Proactive and ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision.
• Able to prioritise and respond with appropriate level of urgency.
• Language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin (added advantage due to liaising with China client/main contractor).

Responsibilities:

• Preparation and submission of budgetary estimates from tender drawings, Bill of Quantities for all disciplines and costs estimation, progress claim, variation order, evaluation of claims, etc.
• Accountable for pre and post contract management, monitoring materials and construction cost, claim submission, site valuation, variation order and final accounts.

Responsibilities: 

• Must be able to report to management on site progress/activity.
• Supervise all site activities, monitor the work progress.
• Discuss with main contractor on daily work schedule and resolve any outstanding matters that can cause delay.
• Ensure work quality is achieved and safely regulations are complied.
• Liaise and coordinate with consultant/contractors at site and submit written report accordingly.
• Undertake any other task assigned by the management.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma in any field.
• At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Must be able to work under hot sun.
• Must be able to work independently under pressure.
• Those with experience in Occupational Safety & Health field will be given priority.
